What must I do to be saved and go to Heaven?

You must first recognize that you are a sinner that has fallen short of God's Holy requirements. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."      Romans 3:23    NASB "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"  Romans 6:23    NASB Each one of us came short of the requirements and were separated from God and Heaven   You have fallen short and can't earn your way into Heaven. You need God's provision for forgiveness and restoration. There is only one provision God has given you. It is only through His son Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."  John 3:16   NASB "Jesus said to him, ' I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.' "  John 14:6  NASB "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."  Ephesians 2:8-9   NASB It is not from your works that you can get into Heaven. It is the gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ.   You must personally invite Jesus Christ into your life so that you may be forgiven and make Heaven your home. You must strive to love God and obey Him with the strength that God will give you. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me."  Revelation 3:20   NASB "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,..."  John 1:12   NASB Pray this and you will be saved and Heaven will be your home. "God I have sinned and fallen short of your requirements. Please forgive me for sinning against you. I now accept your only provision for forgiveness which is Jesus Christ your Son. Jesus come into my life and forgive me my wrongs. Strengthen me so that I will be able to turn away from sin. Help me to love and obey you as Lord.
